gloriously written – I am definately linking your site as well.

It took me a few days to have a free hour to surf off of Haven’s site – yours is rockin.

I am going to be in Rockville IN at the Covered Bridge Fest in 2 weeks . . .

I was dying to attend the Indy book reading, but I was due in Mobile AL to speak . . . then, darn it, they canceled my hotel due to hurricane . . . we could have met . . . !!! I’m still devastated I didn’t make it to one of these recent readings . . .

We need to have a Kimmel Blog UNION meeting . . .

Is is sad that every time I see or hear this author’s name I default to thinking about Jimmy Kimmel?? Yeah, I know…probably a very bad thing to you! LOL

I am inclined to agree that only 2 hours at the Children’s Museum is child abuse! LOL

Hi Kate: I am a blog-jumper, too, here from Haven’s site. I enjoy your postings there…and this is a great one. I see you write for Evansville media…I am originally from Evansville and worked a time for The Courier and The Press — long ago, back in the 60s. I consider Evansville my hometown, but I haven’t lived there since 1976. I am back “home” however, three or four times a year.

I thought Iodine was excellent. I am still kinda stunned by it.

If you want to read a great book about a character from Evansville, go down to the library and check out, Little Big Man. Dustin Hoffman starred in a movie sorta based on the book a long time ago.

Why don’t you convince Haven to come to Evansville or New Harmony for a reading sometime around Thanksgiving…I will be “home” then.
